Tampa BayWatch – My Thoughts on the Bucs

Another Raider retread – Bucs sign Crockett

The Bucs have addressed the crisis at RB by signing FA and former Raider Zack Crockett to a one year deal. Crockett, a 13 year veteran of the Colts, Jags and Raiders he should be able to adjust to the Bucs offence quickly as he was in Oakland with Gruden. Clearly the Bucs are hoping that between Graham, Darby, Crockett and Askew they may find someone that can tote the rock effectively and help them through this season. The NFC South is wide open at the moment and the Bucs will need a run game to allow them to persue a 2nd division crown in 3 years.  OK it’s not a signing to get excited over but it’s clearly a stop gap signing to get us through this season.

First up for Crockett will be the Tennessee Titans and it will be interesting to see how much playing time he gets.
